Hedley Eccleston

I grew up in Orange and have spent the last five-plus years working as an insurance broker, both locally and in Sydney. Along the way, I’ve worked with a wide mix of businesses, which has given me a good feel for how different people operate and what they actually need from their insurance — not just what a policy says on paper.

For the past four years, I’ve been working closely with the agriculture industry here in Orange. Being on the ground in ag has given me a real appreciation for the pressures local farmers and rural businesses deal with, and how important it is to have cover that’s practical, realistic, and suited to the way you work.

These days, I mainly look after business and rural business insurance. I’m big on keeping things simple and having straight conversations, so people feel confident they understand their cover and know where they stand if something goes wrong.
